RULER Institute Online
Register Your School Team for RULER Training
Attending a RULER Institute is the first step for schools (pre-K to 12) looking to implement RULER. Training focuses on building a growth mindset and common language around emotions, skill development in emotional intelligence, and the building and sustaining of positive social and emotional climates where all stakeholders in the school feel empowered to learn, work, and achieve.

June 9 – July 18, 2025

Please note that registrations will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the training is at capacity.
RULER Training and Implementation Support Package
Included in the RULER Training and Implementation Support Package
Year 1
- 6-week training institute with up to 2.5 hours
*Participants receive a certificate upon completion of the training content. - Virtual group coaching sessions
- Electronic newsletters to support with RULER Implementation
- Webinars covering topics that strengthen implementation
- Access to the RULER Online implementation support platform for administrators, faculty, and staff
Year 2

Training Details
- 6-weeks of interactive learning
- Up to 2.5 hours per week
- One 1-hour live webinar or discussion each week. Participants who cannot attend a live session can view the recording on their own time
- Participants receive a certificate of completion
- 3 (minimum) to 10 (maximum) participants per school (one administrator plus 2 or more educators or mental health professionals in the school)
Considerations
- Please complete only one (1) registration form per school team. The form will ask you for the names and email addresses of all training participants in your team.
- As trainings tend to fill up quickly, we recommend you register your team early.

Working with a Public High School?
High schools that enroll in the “RULER for High Schools: Student and Educator Performance and Well-being” study receive:
- Training in RULER for a school-based, five-person implementation team in a cohort of other high schools
- Two years of in-depth implementation support, including individual and group coaching sessions
- Support with data collection that informs implementation
- Participation in a network of like-minded high school educators
- Complementary access to the annual RULER Implementation Conference
