The RULER Institute

The RULER Institute: Creating Emotionally Intelligent Schools training is offered periodically throughout the year at Yale University, online, and regionally. This training is tailored to schools interested in implementing RULER. Each school identifies a small team including one school leader (principal or assistant principal) and two educators or mental health professionals to attend. This team is responsible for training the remaining faculty and staff at their school on the RULER approach.

Regional trainings also are offered if 25 or more schools within a district or region show interest in adopting RULER. You may contact us at rulertraining@yale.edu if you would like to discuss the possibility of bringing a RULER training to your district or region.

Seedlings Institute

The Seedlings Institute for Educational Leaders is a unique opportunity for superintendents, directors, and administrators to enhance their own emotional intelligence and learn how to create system-wide structures to infuse SEL. The training features a variety of interactive and reflective activities that teach the skills of emotional intelligence and the tools developed at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence.
