Rebecca Ouellette is the advancement manager for the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence (YCEI). In this position, Rebecca supports YCEI leaders in managing the Centerā€™s philanthropy strategy and process. Rebecca serves as the point person for the Centerā€™s funding proposal process and is responsible for securing and managing gifts and grants to support the programā€™s mission. She aids in enhancing the Centerā€™s giving success by seeking, promoting, communicating, and facilitating extramural funding opportunities.

Rebecca comes to the Center with over 5 years of progressive experience in nonprofit organizations. In her previous position as a Programs and Grant Manager, Rebecca has 6+ years of experience in program development and evaluation, operational planning, contracting, and relationship management. She obtained her Masterā€™s degree in Public Administration from the University of Connecticut, a BA in Political Science, Mandarin Chinese also from UCONN and has an extensive tenure in public service, grantmaking, and operation excellence in organizations.
