Rebekah Rodriguez-Boerwinkle, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral associate in the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. In this position, Rebekah works with Dr. Zorana Ivcevic Pringle and the Creativity and Emotions Lab. She helps to conduct research funded by the Templeton Religion Trust to investigate the emotional and cognitive effects of engagement with art and how engagement with art can build creative thinking skills.

Rebekah completed her doctoral studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she studied individual differences in behavior and emotional responses during the experience of visual art. Her work takes her to museums and galleries, and she also developed a virtual gallery environment to study the experience of art in the laboratory.
