Stella Jackman-Ryan is a postdoctoral associate at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. In this position, Stella will work with Craig Bailey focusing on implementation science on the Preschool RULER grant funded by the Institute of Education Sciences and RULER in Pennsylvania project funded by the Administration for Children and Families.

Stella earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from North Carolina State University and holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago. Drawing from her experience as both a school teacher and clinical psychologist, Stella is passionate about how psychological and socioemotional experiences are shaped in academic settings and how these experiences impact learning. Her research has focused on the influence of school leaders’ emotional intelligence on students’ school experiences and emotion regulation.
